Our workshops are focused on empowering you to find inner and outer confidence, continuing positive personal or spiritual growth and creating space for calm, peaceful experiences that will enlightenment you on your unique personal journey through life.
We hope to provide an experience that will help you discover and continue meditation and relaxation practices in an increasingly busy world.
There is no requirement to hold spiritual beliefs to learn meditation and relaxation; our workshops help you to let go of limiting thoughts, creating positive ways to create happiness, allowing your mind to relax and your body to calm. From this relaxed place the body can tap into its own intelligence, promoting healing, letting go of the past, opening to compassion and forgiveness. As you continue to surrender the ties that bind you to negative patterns, you learn to connect to positive beliefs, finding pleasure in learning; you start to practice feeling good, feeling empowered, feeling successful, feeling worthy and feeling excited about the abundance that life has to offer.
“Mindfulness meditation doesn’t change life. Life remains as fragile and unpredictable as ever. Meditation changes the heart’s capacity to accept life as it is. It teaches the heart to be more accommodating, not by beating it into submission, but by making it clear that accommodation is a gratifying choice” by Sylvia Boorstein
Join Sal Worringham, Julie Cole, Kim Hale and Kay Kraty for another exciting workshop, where we invite you to explore space and expansion through yoga, DoTERRA oils, meditation, mantra, pranayama, asana and the sound of the gong.
Exploring how the eight limbs of yoga lead us back to the here and now, by creating space for the mind and body to surrender to the present moment. When we start to be aware of our senses, conscious of our breath, the temperature of the air that flows over our skin, the touch of our body on the mat and in space, the sounds of around us, we draw away from the dualities of life’s daily demands, our energy begins to shift, creating space to expand beyond the mind and body. As the mind calms, the body relaxes. We restore, becoming flexible within our thoughts and actions.
We become the loving compassionate witness and rest within our truth. Here our true nature is revealed.
Akhanda Yoga means Whole, Indivisible, Oneness.
Yoga is more than just the postures.
Yoga is about being the explorer, discovering and inquiring.
Yoga is about breath, mantra, movement, sense withdrawal, concentration, meditation, that opens the pathways to bliss and resting in your true nature.
Please bring a mat (we do have a few available), a blanket and a pillow as you will be laying down for an hour with the gong. Please bring an extra blanket to put on your mat for comfort if you wish. Chairs are available to those who wish to sit. Refreshments will also be available.
