Touch for Health (TfH)
Touch for Health (TfH) was developed in the 1960s by Dr John Thie. It is the most widely known branch of kinesiology in the world. It is recognised and respected as foundation training for other kinesiology systems as well as a healing method in its own right.
Touch for Health (TfH) blends the traditions from the East and the West by merging Traditional Chinese Medicine and the Western influence of Chiropractic.
TfH is non-invasive and uses muscle feedback known as “muscle testing” to determine how the body responds to stress and how this can be reduced and changed. This is achieved by giving the person a “balance” which subsequently changes the body’s response to the stress.
The stresses can be physical, emotional, psychological, spiritual, or chemical in nature.
Touch for Health (TfH) balances the body’s energies using a mixture of neuro lymphatic massage, and other techniques
TfH can help to:
- Improve posture,
- Increase concentration
- Improve sports performance
- Reduce and elevate pain
- Reduce stress of all kinds
- Reduce recovery times with injuries
- Improve rehabilitation
- Manage food sensitivities by identifying which foods lower the body’s energies
