Ayurveda is an ancient system of health care that offers a complete, holistic way of life.

The word ‘Ayurveda’ comes from Sanskrit and means ‘the science of life’. It originated in India more than 5,000 years ago and is believed to be the oldest healing science in existence from which all other systems emerged.

This ancient healing system has three main focuses:

  • Healing illness
  • Prevention of disease
  • Longevity or age reversal.

The Ayurvedic Facial is a detoxifying treatment that utilizes natural products from pure essential oils, botanical extracts and herbal preparations to deeply cleanse hydrate and rejuvenate the skin. The facials are customized for each individual’s Dosha to produce properly nourished, revitalised and balanced skin.

The Ayurvedic Facial consists of adding warm, steaming cloths to the face to open the pores, followed by a facial massage using Lippu, Coconut or Sesame Seed oil. A Natural Plant Mask is then applied and removed using the warm steaming cloths. Opthacare eye drops are then placed into each eye. To finish this relaxing treatment Jwalini Oil is massaged into the face. The restorative benefits of herbs and oils from India have been known for centuries. This healing facial utilizes the herbs and oils reparative, hydrating and firming properties.
